Jonathan Zvi Dror
Izrael
Narodil se v roce 1971 v Jeruzalémě. Flétnu studoval u Benjamina Schvarzwalda
a Raanana Eilona, absolvoval Rubinovu hudební akademii, kde ho učil Yossi
Arenheim (Izraelská filharmonie). Hru na saxofon studoval u Stephana Horenstina
a Stu Cohena. Hrál v různých ansámblech, studoval také hru na duduk a arabskou
hudební teorii v Jerusalem Center for Music and Dance from the East.
Vystupoval s hudbou rozličných žánrů od klasické hudby po jazz, funk
a hiphop. Zúčastnil se významných izraelských festivalů. Nějaký čas strávil
v Kalifornii, byl členem kalifornského souboru Amantla Poets. Po návratu
do Izraele se připojil ke skupině Common Bond.

Israel
Born 1971 in Jerusalem, studied flute with Benjamin Schwarzwald and
Raanan Eilon, graduated (B. Mus) at Teal-Aviv Rubin academy under Yossi
Arenheim (Israel Philharmonic), winner of the "Keren Sharet" scholarships
in 1985 and 1988. Saxophone studies with Stephan Horenstine and Stu
Cohen. Jonathan has participated in various enssembles in the "Rimon"
school for jazz and contemporary music, and studied Duduk and Arabic
music theory at the Jerusalem Center for Music and Dance from the East.
Jonathan has performed in various music styles, extending from classical
through jazz, funk and hiphop. He participated in major Israely festivals
such as the international Red-Sea Festival, Zfat Kleyzmer Festival,
Cinemateque Jazz, Movies and Video Festival, and the Israel Festival. Out
side of Israel, Jonathan has performed in the annual Ashland Country
Fair, the Trinity Stomp and the San-Fransisco Afribian, with Aucland
Ca. based band - Amantla Poets. Returning to Israel, Jonathan has joined
the Common Bond.
