Nimrod Elisar

Bubeník a perkusista Nimrod Elisar narozený v roce 1963 v Izraeli začal hrát
na bicí už v deseti letech. Studoval u významných bubeníků: Yosi Burla, Yosi
Binnun, Jerri Garval a Kenneth Krohn ( v současné době hlavníní perkusistou
v Izraelské filharmonii). Od svých čtrnácti let veřejně vystupuje s mnoha
předními izraelskými umělci i s Izraelskou filharmonií. Studoval také
v Drummers Collective v New Yorku (u Terryho Silverlighta a Franka Malabe).
V roce 1989 absolvoval Berklee college of Music, kde ho učili Joe Hunt,
Skipp Haden, Ed Uribe, Dean Anderson, Victor Mendoza, Ed Saindon, Herb Pomeroy
a Phill Wilson. V Bostonu spolupracoval s Back Bay Brass, Hot Like Fire, Lalah
Hathaway, Pj Adamson a nahrával pro Unicef. V roce 1990 přesídlil do L. A,
pracoval zde s "Moshe Noy Band", "Bring Back Swing" a dalšími. Do Izraele se
vrátil v roce 1993. Od té doby hraje a nahrává s předními umělci: Rita, Shlomo
Artsi, Sarit Hadad, Eyal Golan, Yoram Gaon, Habibi a jinými. Zúčastnil se
festivalu Red Sea Jazz Festival, hrál v muzikálech a v Národním divadle,
vystupoval v TV.

Drummer and percussionist, Born 1963 in Petah-Tikva Israel. Started
to play the drums at the age of 10 and studied with - Yosi Burla,
Yosi Binnun, Jerri Garval, and Kenneth Krohn (at the time principal
percussionist at the Israeli Philharmonic Orch.). Performing since
the age of 14 with many top Israeli artists as well as with the Israel
Philharmonic (at the age of 16). Studied at the Drummers Collective in
New York with Terry Silverlight and Frank Malabe.
Graduated "Magna cum laude" from the Berklee College of Music in 1989,
studied there with Joe Hunt, Skipp Haden, Ed Uribe, Dean Anderson, Victor
Mendoza, Ed Saindon as well as with Herb Pomeroy and Phill Wilson. While
In Boston played with the Back Bay Brass, Hot Like Fire, Lalah Hathaway,
Pj Adamson, and recorded for unicef. 1990 moved to L. A. worked there
with the "Moshe Noy Band", "Bring Back Swing", Dabul as well as many
other artists. 1993 back to Israel. Since then performed and recorded
with all the top Israeli artists among them - Rita, Shlomo Artsi,
Sarit Hadad, Eyal Golan, Yoram Gaon, Habibi, and many many others,
as well as performing twice at the Red Sea Jazz Festival, playing in -
Les Miserables, West Side Story, Annie, The Little Mermaid, Habima the
National Theater and doing numerous TV shows and recording dates.
