Perkuse a bicí studoval v Paříži a zároveň hrál se svým otcem v různých
arabských souborech. Ve dvaceti přestal hrát na bicí a věnoval se
africkým rytmům a studiu hry na arabskou derbuku. Muzikologii studoval
v Paříži. Hraje s jazzovými kapelami, v nichž uplatňuje derbuku a arabské
rytmy. Perkuse také v Paříži vyučuje. Nahrával pro film a rozličné
hudební produkce.

- His Egyptian mother and his Tunisian father, author , composer and
interpret, were his first music teachers.
- Between the ages 15 and 18, percussion and drums student in Paris. At
the same time, he plays with his father in different Arab orchestras.
- At the age of 20, he stops playing the drums and dedicates himself
to the rhythms of Africa. He studies African percussion with Guem and
Derbouka with Kahlaoui Tounsi.
- During three years student of musicology at the VIII-university in
Paris.
- He plays with Jazzgroups where he integrates the Derbouka and Arab
Rhythms.
- During the last ten years he has been playing in recordings for film
and different music productions.
- He teaches percussion in Paris.
